At the beginning of August I have decided to embark on
a culinary cycling adventure across Britain . I will
be cycling an average of 40 miles a day and stopping off at producers, cafés,
restaurants and forests to discover Britain ’s hidden food
gems and cook along the way.
The plan is to start at Lowestoft from the furthest
possible point East of England and travel across to the most Westernly point in
St David’s Head, Wales; details are below.
The complete journey will be done solely by myself, but the intention is that friends, family, and anyone else can join me for a day or several if they so wish, so ask around if you know anyone who would/could join in! I will be raising money for the British Heart Foundation whilst I cycle in memory of my father.
